How long does it take to remodel my condo?Typically, a condo renovation takes 3 to 6 months from start to finish, depending on the size of the condo and the scope of work as well as the level of sophistication and customization. A simple 2,000 square foot condo will fall on the lower end of the timeline while a 3,500 square foot ultra high-end remodel will take closer to 6 months. Do I need to hire an architect when renovating my condo?In many instances, if the condo is located in the city of Houston limits, we do not need formal architectural plans in order to obtain permits to do a complete tear-out and remodel of your condo. Fratelli Designs will create floorplans and a scope of work defining the details and the extent of the renovation which will satisfy the permitting requirements.

What is the typical cost of a condo remodel?While the answer to this question varies widely on the size of the condo and the level of finishing and sophistication defined in the scope of work, the average remodeling price of a 2,000 square foot condo ranges between $100,000 and $250,000. How does a condo renovation differ from a single family home renovation?To begin with, multifamily buildings have to adhere to commercial construction codes from a structural, electrical, mechanical and plumbing standpoint.
